When The Life You Built Starts Asking New Questions

A SYMBOLIC WAY THROUGH MIDLIFE

Midlife is not only a crisis. It can be a threshold: a moment when identity, desire, purpose, relationships, and the meaning of success begin to shift.

Through Jungian and depth psychological work, Golshid helps thoughtful adults listen to the unconscious patterns beneath the surface and understand the symbolic signals that often appear during this passage.

This work explores archetypes, shadow, projection, complexes, dreams, and the loss and recovery of meaning — not as abstract ideas, but as living patterns shaping the next chapter of life.

Symbolic Life and the Search for Meaning

When certain people, conflicts, or reactions carry too much emotional charge, something unconscious may be activated. We look at shadow, projection, and complexes as signals, not flaws.

When the old roles no longer feel alive, archetypal patterns often begin to surface. In my courses, we study archetypes as living patterns that shape identity, relationships, desire, and the movement toward inner integrity.

When success and constant functioning begin to feel empty, the psyche may be asking for a different relationship with life. Through symbolism, imagination, dreams, and reflection, we explore what Jung called the symbolic life.
